Thank you to all Whanau who came to the Meet the Teacher Evening. We had almost 90% of Room 6 families attending.

Congratulations to the recipients of awards at our Recognition Assembly on Thursday. It was great to have such a wonderful turnout of whanau!

Message from Mr Hendricks

Hi All

Thank you for getting the children back to school. We now have 85% attending - just 6% below our goal. Those who are here, are looking forward to their classmates returning as there is a pizza lunch on offer for the first class to have all their students back at the same time.

As we mentioned before, no written mid-year school reports will be issued. Instead the staff are putting aside two afternoons and evenings to meet with all the families.

We have grouped the families to attend on either the Wednesday 1 July or Thursday 2 July.

It would be really helpful if all families could help each other complete the interview registration on the Skool Loop app.

Term 2 Week 9: Testing

Hello GIS Whanau

Next week we will be starting testing. Please ensure your child is at school every day or contact the office (via telephone or Skool Loop) to let us know that they will be away.

Term 2 Week 8: Off to college next year?

If your child is currently in year 8 then you should be considering where they will be going to high school next year. If your child will be going to Tamaki College, then enrolment forms are available at school. Your child can return the form to school and we will forward it on to Tamaki College. If you are considering an out-of-zone enrolment, be sure to take note of the closing date.
