Term 3 Week 4 - Emergency Closure: Message from Mr Hendricks

The Prime Minister has announced that alert level 3 will continue for the next 12 days, ending on Wednesday the 26th of August 2020. This means that school is closed for all students except where the family indicates that they are an essential worker. Please expect a call from your child's teacher over the next 24 hours.

 To assist learning at home the following preparation has been made:

learner's in ROOMS 6-11 can collect a device from school on Monday morning the 17th of August between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thereafter the school once again be locked down as many teachers live with all the family members will fall into the vulnerable category. Students should be instructed to participate in online learning with the teachers at the scheduled times each day. Logging into the class site will provide access to additional learning material.

Learners in rooms 2-4 can collect school printed resources designed to consolidate current learning.

This lockdown feels very different from the first, please exercise lots of patience with your children and note that all support agencies are there to assist if you start feeling challenged.
