Hi All

An exciting event has been planned by Sport Auckland for the Tamaki community.

In collaboration with Tamaki Touched, Kelly sports, KORTM and Hungerball we invite you to the “Whanau Fun Day” on Thursday 8th April at Pt England reserve from 3:30pm-7pm.

There will be lots of fun activities like Ki O Rahi, Tag, Hungerball and Inflatable futsal for all ages to join in.

There will be free sausage sizzles and fruit throughout the afternoon!

Registrations will be taken on arrival so make sure you sign up at HQ!

We're promoting the event to families and are not arranging GIS teams.

Have a read of the brochure.

Enjoy

Senior Swimming Day

Evening All

Just TWO reminders:

1.   Swimming starts at 1pm. Seats have been put aside for parents attending.  We have 46 races to get through so the pace will be quite fast-paced.
2.  On Friday school is closed to allow the six staff to attend their graduation.

Hope to see many parents tomorrow.

Calendar Changes after Alert Level 3

 Hi All

Mostly coping - I do hope so? Just like everyone else we're holding out for a full return to school next week.

Here are a few events that have date changes:

1. Powhiri for new families - now 15 April

2. Festival Day - now 15 April (last day of term)

3. Meet the teacher - now Thursday 6 May (online booking on this Skoolloop App towards the end of term)

4. Pumpkin growing competition:  call the school to register or email Mr Naidoo ( ksnaidoo@gleninnes.school.nz ) to book a time for him to come and photograph and measure the pumpkin at your home.

5. Swimming celebration days for juniors and seniors remain as scheduled but the format for the day will change.

Hopefully, no other calendar changes have to be made.

Be safe, stay well
